A day in the life of Harry Timson:
I love the weekends!
No school means I get to do what I like. My day normally kicks off with a tough decision between Shreddies and Weetabix. All washed down with mum’s top cup of tea.
I check out the tides and it looks good for Watergate later on today. I have been surfing Watergate Bay since I was three years old. In the meantime I call up Big Liam, Little Liam, Ben and Alex to cruise round to mine to shoot some hoops in my back garden and play on the trampoline.
Im getting pestered by my little brother Sunni so I decide to skate down to Wooden Waves skate Park with the boys. We spend an hour or so hanging out and skating the ramps before my Dad comes to take me surfing.
Meeting us in the car park at the beach is my older brother Lewis and his mate, fellow Fat Face team rider Chris Thomson. I love surfing with them as it really pushes me, although they catch all the waves!
The best thing about Watergate Bay is knowing all the locals as they really encourage me and in the summer we all hang out on the beach surfing, skim boarding and just mucking around.
Before long the sunsets and we all head back to Newquay. Im so hungry after surfing I could eat for five people. I hope Mum has made me Stew ‘n’ Dumplings, this is my favourite and I eat so much that I nearly pop!
I let my dinner go down for about five minutes before we head off into Newquay to skate around the local spots like the post office and bus station. I have boosting off the chairs down to a tee. I think skateboarding really helps my surfing except when I fall, which isn’t to often.
My Dad gives me a call and it’s time to go home and get ready for tomorrow. Sundays are even better then Saturdays.
