Surf and watersports clubs

We like to think with you about organizing a surfing group tour. It might well be you all (or some) could surf already. In that case, we will take into account the location (difficulty surfing) and the level of the surf lessons (which should be 'advanced'). If you still have some novice surfers, that's not a problem.

It is regularly that associations within Europe remain for a surf trip. In France and Portugal in particular, there are plenty of surf spots that offer a lot of challenge. Northern Spain offers conditions that are very suitable for novice surfers, although these types of spots are also sufficient to find in Franrijk and Portugal.

Even outside Europe, we have numerous locations that can be offered. Look for your e.g. a surf trip on Bali or Sri Lanka, or in Nicaragua, Morocco or South Africa? Contact us and we’d like to help you move on.

The number of participants is completely free to fill in.

We can offer suitable accommodation for all numbers, such as e.g. groups up to 20 people, 50, 150 or even 500 people. Anything is possible. Often you can choose to rent an entire property or part of it.

It is also freely fillable in terms of number of days. There are groups that leave for 4 nights but a one-week stay – or even 2, is also possible.

In addition to surfing, fun and fun activities, there is also always an opportunity to give a special turn to the surfing group tour. Here are some examples:

  • Beach clean-up: surfing happens in the water, on the beach. Many accommodations often organize beach clean-ups (independently), which is a good (and fun/cosy) way to make the surfers aware of what they leave (sometimes unintentionally) on the beach. This activity ensures bonding, awareness and the group of course does something very good for Mother Nature.
  • Surfrider Foundation: this organization, which sits all over the world, is committed to keeping our Oceans as clean as possible. They do this through (in particular) information and the organisation and facilitation of beach clean-ups. In surf trips in and around Biarritz (France), San Sebastian (northern Spain) or Lisbon (Portugal), it is quite possible to involve this organisation in the surfing group tour. This is possible, for example, information to the participants, possibly followed by a beach/forest clean-up.
  • Own ideas: the options in this are very far.

Surfing, activities, meals and transport

Per group we look at the best surfing opportunities (surf lessons/free surfing/no surf), meals, activities and transport. Everything is also negotiable.

Per participant it is possible to choose:

  • Surf lessons
  • Surf Guiding
  • Free surfing – this can only be done under certain conditions

All our partners specialize in giving surf lessons. But even if you can surf, you can choose free surfing. This can be done independently or under supervision (surf guiding), which becomes particularly relevant if you go surfing in northern Spain or Portugal, or outside Europe.

Surf lessons: lessons are offered (bookable by class) to surfers of all levels. We have a good view of the accommodations that are well able to teach intermediates/experienced surfers.

Surf Guiding: are there several beaches nearby? Then it can be useful to opt for surf-guiding, with one or more guides coming with you to find out the best beach of the day. You will also get information about the rips, currents and possible rocks or reef in the water. This way you can make sure you always go safely into the water.

Meals can be fully tailored to your wishes. Many groups use the meals offered because this saves a lot of work and it can be booked at a competitive rate. What happens regularly is that groups e.g. 2 nights off, so that the students (during a city trip or after a ‘free afternoon’) can score themselves.

Most common:

Daily breakfast and self-preparing a lunch package (for the beach or elsewhere). A number of (or all) evenings will be served at the surf accommodation or at a restaurant nearby.

Special wishes:

It is quite possible to put together a menu yourself. For certain food wishes, we will present a certain accommodation that already has experience with this type of food. Think of this. protein-rich menus. It is also possible to take into account (the most common) allergies.

In addition to surfing, there will be plenty of time for fun and educational activities. We often see that teachers have many of our own ideas about this, which we like to listen to. Usually it’s not a problem to fit this into the program. Furthermore, we can point out these popular activities:

  • Sustainable: the aforementioned activities such as a beach clean-up or a visit to (e.g.) the Surfrider Foundation is easy to realize in a number of locations.
  • Yoga: this is very popular, especially in combination with surfing. Some schools bring their own yoga teacher(e) and this is of course also by arranging the accommodation.
  • Sports & games: in tournament form or not, there are plenty of games possible. An afternoon football or volleyball on the beach or a session fitness.
  • Party: if you value a party at his time, that’s quite possible. We can certainly take this into account regarding the accommodation.

In terms of transport, there are three options. For bus or plane transport, this can be arranged both through us and independently.

  • Bus transport: for accommodation in (in particular) France and Spain it is possible to arrange bus transport. Transport will take place in modern and comfortable buses that have already brought many young people to their surfing destination over the years. Of course the bus will pick you up at the association.
  • Plane: if you have a preference to fly (for travel to e.g. Spain or Portugal) is possible. In consultation, the tickets will be booked by you yourself or through us. Of course, it is not a problem to ensure that you are picked up at the airport and to be neatly dropped off there.
  • Own transport: if you would choose to get to the surf trip with (your own) cars, that could be beneficial.
