The Suite Example

• Where do you sleep? You will stay in a private bungalow with double bed(s). Suitable for 2 guests. Beds are made.

• In addition to the above: This suite cabana was created to make you feel the king or queen of paradise. Take a break from the outside world with your favorite person and enjoy the fusion with the surrounding nature. The Twin Room Example

• In addition to the above: These amazing cabanas host 2 beds, which you can book privately (with a friend) or share. Towels are provided and there's a fan too. Enjoy with your favorite mate in our charming jungle cabana for friends, composed of two individual beds.

Surf Levels

Beginners

• You have never surfed before or only a couple of times, you will join the beginner lessons
• Best months: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec.

Intermediate

• Are you already confident with your pop-up and you can somehow surf independently?
• Best months: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec.

Advanced

• All you surf are green waves but you are still looking to perfectioning
• Best months: Jan, Feb, Mar, Apr, May, Jun, Jul, Aug, Sep, Oct, Nov, Dec.

Surf packages

Group lessons

• Group lessons: All of our week packages include 10 hours of surf lessons. During this time it is our hope that you will gain an understanding of the ocean environment and the surfing world. You will have 5 lessons, spread over 5 days, of 2 hours each.

Private Lessons

• Private Lessons: Trying to perfect your art? Private lessons are available with our instructors for one-on-one guidance to take your skills to the next level. You will have 1 lessons, spread over 1 days, of 2 hours each.
• Suitable for: (1 star refers to not suitable, 5 refers to very suitable)

When and Where?

• The surf lessons will be planned according to the weather and wave conditions, so it's impossible to communicate the hours of your lessons prior to your arrival.
• The surf lessons take place at Playa Maderas, but it could also happen that we go to Playa Remanso, or Playa Marsella.
• There won't be any surf lessons on the day of your arrival.

Surf equipment

• Surf equipment: When booking a surf package, making use of a surfboard and a wetsuit is included for all guests throughout their stay.

Surf storage

• Surf storage: It is possible to store your own surf equipment in our storage.

What is there to do?

Activities

• Pool-time: Yes, the at the surf resort is the best place to enjoy a cocktail or just hang out with your new friends - or by yourself
• Games night: For the people interested a number of games will be organised. Will you go home with the victory at the poker table, do you prefer Jenga or just a quite game of chess?
• Movie night: About once a week, there's a movie on. Not coincedentally, these are normally surf movies!

Activities to add-on

• Sunday Funday: Yes, this is one of Nicaragua's highlights, just at your own doorstep in SJDS. Every Sunday you can take part in this day and night long pub and pool crawl. The resort happily assists you in getting your tickets
• Yoga: Yoga is one of the best ways to give your body some relaxation and we therefore do recommend you to try it
• Watersports: In the town of SJDS you will find many ways to be entertained. Book a sailing or catamaran trip or go on a guided fishing adventure. There's snorkeling and much more

Nightlife

• For the people that want, once or twice a week a small group of guests grab a taxi to visit the center of SJDS for some drinks and potentially even some dancing
