Barbados is the easternmost island in the Caribbean and is completely surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean. It boasts a rich history, beautiful landscapes and a vibrant culture! There is so much to this island and is an awesome surf holiday destination if you want to combine adventure with a bit of R&R. Not to mention there are tonnes of awesome food for you to try during your stay in Barbados, BBQ and fish are extremely popular in Barbados. Barbados is a great place for surfers who are looking for a relaxed surf scene as well as the chance to meet surfers from all over the world.

The Southern coast of Barbados has awesome waves for beginner and intermediate surfers, with plenty of gentle lefts and rights and endless white sandy beaches to relax on after a long day in the water, it is easy to understand why some many travellers have fallen in love with Barbados. Here at Errant, we have partnered with the world famous Zed surf school to offer both surf lessons and accommodation. The Soup Bowl on the east coast of the island is perfect for more experience and pro surfers, named for the foamy surf found in Bathsheba this legendary surf spot is definitely worth a visit – even just as a spectator. The best time to visit Soup Bowl is usually between November to May, however, due to the consistent waves in Bathsheba over the summer months, July – October can produce awesome head high waves.
