Surf holidays for advanced surfers

Surf Holidays for Advanced Surfers

There are so many surf holidays out there and most of them have always focussed on novice surfers. However, we understand how incredibly important it is (and if not: how frustrating it can be) to take surf lessons from a teacher that can actually teach you something. That's why we have created this overview with surf holidays for advanced surfers.
We've met way to many surfers who were put in a surf group of only people with much less experience than they had themselves. This is something we want to prevent, as also the intermediate to advanced surfers deserve the chances to improve. We at Errant Surf know what the best surf camps are to go to, so take advantage of this overview and thank us later

More information about Surf Holidays for Advanced Surfers

When being an advanced surfer you might also be looking for a surf holiday. And we fully understand you, because surf camps are so much fun! However, you want to avoid being grouped with people of much lesser experience than you. We’ve heard numerous stories of people with quite some experience who were put in the group with only beginners. It is true that most guests of surf camps are novice surfers but this certainly isn’t the case at every camp.

The guys at Gota d’Agua in Portugal run a surf school as well and they really know how to handle the more advanced surfers. Among many other surf camps (to be found in this overview) they manage to group their guests by level and give them the appropriate assistance and this is vital.

Why book a surf holiday for advanced surfers?

Well, except for some exceptions, it’s unlikely that you will be grouped with only advanced surfers (there are also many options where this is possible actually!). However, to be in a surf camp where they cater the surf lessons for surfers from all levels has a lot of advantages. Please do not be scared off by many of the stories you might have heard from other advanced surfers doing surf holidays as we know that this doesn’t always work out well. We also have met many people (not at the camps we promote though!) that concluded they ‘hadn’t learned anything’ during their week at the surf camp.

Errant Surf already offers surf holidays since 2004 and so we know pretty well which accommodations you can go to when looking for surf holidays for advanced surfers. If you manage to end up there, you will see that you will finally take your surfing to that next level. Surfing is the kind of sport where you will likely always be needing expert-advice to keep growing. Of course there’s a lot of practical experience you need, but also the expert-eye is vital.

Where to book your surf holiday for advanced surfers?

Well, the answer is obvious: Errant Surf. However, you might also be looking for a geographical area for your surfing holiday, rather than a website. The place to go to for your surf trip depends on a number of factors, like your level of surfing, the time of the year and the area (roughly) where you want to go to. There are many surf holidays in Portugal that would potentially be good options but in case you are looking for a surf holiday outside of Europe, we’ve got you covered too.

You can always get in touch with us our use the filters we provide in order to optimize your search results. We really hope you have the confidence in improving your surf skills at one of our surf camps and be ready to be amazed.
