At the surf camp in Somo, a team fully dedicated to cooking is there to serve you anything you like. One of the most beautiful towns of Cantabria – also with the longest name – is called San Vicente de la Barquera (see pictures below). Your surfing trip might take you to the beaches of ‘Sanvi’ or the nearby Oyambre but you might also take on some adventure and visit this town yourself. It’s part of the Camino de Santiago de Compostela and for most of the people walking it, it’s certainly among the highlights.

Escuela Cantabra de Surf

This amazing surf camp in the North of Spain was founded by David ”Capi” García. He has been ”many years in competition, a lifetime dedicated to surfing and currently an instructor and free surfer. For more than 36 years, he has surfed, competed and traveled all over the world. The last 27 years of his life has been focused on the instruction and direction of the Escuela Cantabra de Surf” as we read on their website.
